Fresh and Floral - Vibrant and Sexy
Regularly topping our sugar scrub best seller chart (we’re speaking figuratively here: we don’t actually have charts hanging on walls) Sexy Laundry Day is one of those scents that we have no intention of discontinuing (if for no other reason than to avoid angering certain possibly over-zealous fans of the scent). But why is it so popular? Maybe the woman who named Crush On You, way back when it was first created it, can explain it.
“The scent makes me start singing ‘Fly Me To The Moon’ in the shower,” she says. Wait, what? Back-story: the woman to whom we’re referring (we’ll call her Ethelwyn for the purposes of this narrative) is a close relative of Absolute Soap's original co-founders Joanna and Bradford Schmidt. While debating various names for their new handmade sugar scrub, Ethelywn turned to Joanna and said she loved it so much it made her start singing the song “I’ve Got A Crush On You.” Sensing a theme here? Yeah, she’s a lifelong Sinatra fan. We think maybe she relates everything to Ol’ Blue Eyes.
So let’s just say it’s the fresh, vibrant floral scent that makes it so popular. Rosewood, musk, baby rose, jasmine and more (we can’t give away all our secrets now, can we?) make it unique among floral fragrance blends. Combine that magic with our amazing hand-blended sugar, shea butter, rice bran oil and pH-balanced soap scrub and you’ve got something really special. And while we can’t guarantee that it’s Sexy Laundry Day Crush On You that keeps Ethelwyn still globe-hopping, able to toss back dirty martinis like a sailor and breeze through the NY Times crossword in no time at all, it can’t hurt, either.

Crush On You has to be the perfect product!! I was amazed that it exfoliated, cleansed and moisturized my hands all in one step. My hands were clean and soft without feeling greasy or oily. I couldn't stop touching my own hands?I was in shock! I have even used it on my whole body in the shower once again clean and unbelievably soft. Perfect name.

I Just Cannot Say Enough Good Things About This Scrub.
Scrub--, scrub, scrub. Who knew that scrubbing one's skin practically raw could feel so good? Recently I waxed poetic about Laura Mercier's divine Creme Brulee scrub, but lamented the painful cost. Well today's your lucky day! I found a cheaper, and dare I say better, alternative!
Ladies, please meet Crush on You Body Scrub from Product Body, a fabulous woman owned skincare line. This deliciously gritty body scrub is the best thing that's happened to my overly dry, kinda round body. The texture is to die for: it's fabulously textured with lots of grit so you feel like you?re really taking care of business. When I step out of the shower, my rough, scaly elbows have been scrubbed into silky smooth submission. My skin glows with happiness. I just cannot say enough good things about this scrub and I'm going to use it weekly to get my skin wedding and honeymoon ready.

The Best Scrub This Product Junkie Has Ever Tried
It's not often that I use the word "delightful" in a non-ironic way, but Product Body's Crush On You sugar scrub warrants this. The little jar of Heaven contains the best skin scrub this self-proclaimed product junkie has ever tried. The consistency of soft wet sand, Crush On You manages to maintain a perfect blend of scrubby cane sugar, soft shea butter and natural sunflower oil with each scoop. Which, as a result, manages to both exfoliate and soften skin beautifully without feeling the least bit greasy.
All Product Body goodies are paraben free and contain no petroleum products, plus, they're all handmade in small batches and use locally sourced ingredients whenever possible.
